Gordy's Gift & Garden Center

I love this place, but when I asked one of the cashiers about a plant she told me she had no idea what it was and “I just work here.” She also told me to just use google lense to find out about the plant. You would think an employee that works at a garden supply store would know about garden supply matters, or at least try to be more helpful. Pretty aggravating experience.

We absolutely love Gordy's :-) It's one of our favorite places. It's a fun place to look around but they also carry quality plants, everything you may need for your green thumb...& more!

My favorite place for my cannabis plants....a lady there helps with any questions I have and I get most of my hydroponic supplies and soil there....and houseplants are plentiful there...I bought a fern for Valentine's Day and it grew so fast it was blowing up the hanging vase. JOHN took a lot of time off to find me the perfect larger vase and put a bag of special soil in it and it was free....I can tell that John really loves his job...he explained how he was born into it. A very good person !

This is my favorite place to shop for unique plants, flowers, and gifts! Every plant I've purchased has been very good & thrived. Every time I'm in Duluth, I stop to see what's new & end up purchasing something cool.

Have been having a mixed bag of experiences here. Staff are always wonderful but a number of indoor plants we've bought here have had pests, such at spider mites and mealy bugs... Neither of which do you want to be introducing into a large collection of indoor plants. Definitely a place to stop and browse, just be sure to tread carefully - give your plants a good visual inspection, a proactive treatment, and keep them quarantined for a while before mixing them into your household. Outdoor plants? Have had great success with those, and their hanging baskets are some of the best around, even though they're 40% smaller than last year, for the same price 👀 (Update: looks like this trend may be continuing in 2025)
